PETA Protests Outside NASA Headquarters

Today, Novemeber 19, 2009 PETA calls on NASA to stop cruel and wasteful proposed tests of the effects of long term radiation exposure during long duration space flight on monkeys. Now I am all for animal rights, I mean my dog and cat are my best friends, however I am curious as to what are the other options? One main argument of PETA is that these animals can’t speak for themselves and we force them into these tests; well I propose a solution to that problem.
