Space Shuttle Discovery Flys One Last Time

On the back of a 747 carrier, the Space Shuttle Discovery takes one last flight before arriving at its new home at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. The flight path had the Shuttle circle the mall in Washington, D.C. three times before landing at Dulles Airport just outside of the city.


Space Communications and Navigation Documentary

After many trials and tribulations, reshoots, scope creep, and a year of revisions, the Space Communications and Navigation, or SCaN, interactive documentary is complete and live on www.nasa.gov. The 11 chapter series outlines the history and current network infrastructure for communicating in space to the future plans and improvements to optimize communications in the future. A Space Shuttle Retrospective Great Hall Exhibit

I recently installed a new great hall exhibit at NASA Headquarters highlighting the 30 year Space Shuttle program which ended this year.
